Story Summary
Meet the Characters: Rosie and Ben are siblings. They have a Grandpa who has a special van. The van can go anywhere, even on water.
The Trip to the River: Grandpa takes Rosie and Ben to his favorite river. They cannot swim, but they can use kayaks. Clunk, the robot, is worried about the water.
Helping Sam at the Store: They meet Sam, who has animals in his store. The water is rising, and Sam needs help. Grandpa and the kids help carry the animals to Sam's truck.
Climbing to Safety: Ben and Sam go to the roof of the store with the animals. The water is getting higher, and they need to find a way to escape. Ben has an idea to climb to the grocery store.
Saving the Kittens: Ben jumps to the grocery store roof with a cage. Clunk jumps into the water to save the kittens. Grandpa helps everyone get to safety in the van.
