The Other Man – A Man in the Mirror

This story is about a writer who lives alone in a room to write his book. One day, his pen disappears. Then, he sees another man in the mirror. This man looks exactly like him, but he has a beard.

The man from the mirror appears at night and tells the writer that he cannot leave. The writer becomes invisible, and the other man takes his place. Even his friend does not recognize the difference. The writer is trapped, and no one can help him.

The Charm – What is True Bravery?

In The Charm, a shy and scared soldier meets a blind old man. The old man gives him a charm and says, “This will protect you.” The soldier believes in the charm and becomes very brave in battle. He fights without fear and inspires other soldiers.

One day, he loses the charm, and he feels afraid. But he still fights bravely. Then, he understands something important – real bravery is when a person feels fear but still does something dangerous.

Journey’s End – Can We Change the Future?

Tom, a young man without a job, meets a fortune-teller. She tells him that if he travels on Friday, he will never arrive at his destination. Later, he gets a job interview in another town. But the interview is on a Friday. He decides to go anyway.

On the train, something strange happens. The train stops, and he never reaches the town. But an old man on the train offers him a job. If he had not traveled, he would not have met this man. The story shows that sometimes strange things happen for a good reason.
